The funniest part about 18 year olds at the Halfway House is that they seem to act like they are still living with their parents. Thus, they also try to use the same tricks that they used successully to get around the rules, or to pull the wool over their parents’ eyes. Well, this young man learned pretty damn quickly that his little stunts wouldn’t hold up with our seasoned House Managers. After all, when your entire career is focused on getting young ones into shape, you tend to know all of their bullshit even before it happens. This one thought he’d be sly by sneaking in through his sliding glass door. Well, that was a big fail, and he certainly paid the consequences. He’d obviously done something similar many times before – and gotten away with it – because we has never seen an 18 year old so scared shitless.
